DO YOU NEED AN EICR CERTIFICATE FOR YOUR PROPERTY?

Highland Heating Logo.png

Highland Heating Management can carry out electrical safety checks in homes in Inverness and the surrounding areas.

Making sure your property is safe to inhabit

Current regulations in the UK state that private rented properties must have an EICR (electrical installation condition report) completed at least once every five years. A qualified and competent person must carry out the report and copies need to be supplied to the local authority and your tenants.

As SELECT associated electricians, Highland Heating Management is fully qualified to carry out any electrical testing work and can help you ensure your following regulations at all times. If a tenant is currently living in the property, we can contact them directly to arrange a suitable time to visit.

Homeowners do not need to have any safety checks done, however, an up-to-date EICR certificate could be beneficial if you are planning to sell your home. It also gives you peace of mind that your wiring is in a safe condition.
